(Bonus hot librarian content you crave: I made the assistant principal crack up when he realized that my bulletin board had changed. He did a double take: "Wait, did it look like that this morning?!" and then about died laughing when I said "no, I changed it during second hour." I don't know why this was funny, but he did like the new one, haha.)
During lunch, I had half a dozen students here in the library, trying to solve a mystery. One of them had received some post in his locker this morning: an image of him, drawn to look like a femboy.
(n.b. I did not see this image and have no idea what my students are identifying as "femboy" characteristics here. it did not sound scandalous, just bemusing.)
The conversation is amusing me so much I'm jotting down my favorite quotes. Names changed to protect the minors, as usual.
"Stella is good at drawing femboys. We should ask her about it."
"Yeah, but how are you going to do that? Just go up to her and be like 'hey Stella, could you draw me a femboy'?"
